City ready to win
Eduardo Schoeler said the players are now on the right track and are ready to face the big teams in the PSL.

POLOKWANE – Polokwane City’s Brazilian caretaker coach, Eduardo Schoeler said the players are now on the right track and are ready to face the big teams in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
Schoeler spoke after the team’s 2-0 win against Ajax Cape Town is the PSL match that was played at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex on Sunday.
He said winning the match required concentration and determination for the entire 90 minutes of the game.
“Anything is possible in the game of football and the team still has a chance to move to the top eight.
“I know Ajax has a very strong striking force and I told the defenders, Million Mkhabela and Kabelo Lechaba to put Nathan Paulse and Lebogang Manyama on the brackets, so they don’t make a turn and face the nets. They played according to my plans and I’m happy with the results.
“I also give credit to the goalkeeper, Modiri Marumo for doing exceptionally well,” said Schoeler.
City FC recently fired the head coach, Duncan Lechesa after he lost five consecutive matches, and there is speculation the club wants to acquire the services of Ian Palmer as the head coach and former Bafana Bafana coach, Ted Dumitru as technical advisor.
City FC boss, Johnny Mogaladi however refuted the allegations, saying he was happy with Schoeler’s job with the team.
Two weeks ago, City FC announced a new partnership with the transport company, City to City as their official transporter to matches.
Mogaladi said he was happy with the partnership and that the players would travel safely to matches.
City to City’s executive, Justin Mnkandla expressed his excitement to be in partnership with the team.
