POLOKWANE – Vodacom Limpopo held a much enjoyed and well attended golf day at the local course, Polokwane Golf Club last Thursday.

Thabo Tshingange and teammate Cyril Chetty won the betterball scramble drive format match with a total of 53 points.

In second place on 51 points were Joe Legora and Adam Milanzi, with Zipho Ngobeni and Goitsemang Motseki in third place on 50 points.

Fourth place went to Safraaz Sulliman and Azhar Sulliman who scored 49 points, with Francois Goosen and Llewellyn Prenzler ending fifth overall on 48 points on a count-out.

Sixth place on 48 points went to David Hlabyago and Thabo Marobane. Vodacom Limpopo handed out prizes to the golfers who recorded the longest drives, landing nearest to the pin and for the most accurate drive.

The prize for the longest drive at the 13th hole was awarded to female golfer, Nola Peceur and to Herbie Fox.

Kenny Mboyana won the prize for the golfer nearest to the pin on the eighth hole.

Jacques Grobler was the golfer nearest to the pin on the 16th hole.

The prize for the most accurate drive on the ninth fairway went to Pieter Meiring.

Ndumiso Butulezi was awarded for scoring an impressive hole in one at the 11th hole.
