Bobe back with a bang at Leopards

FORMER Free State Stars midfielder, Mongezi Bobe, has returned to Lidoda Duvha after a tough season with the Ea Lla Koto team.

The Carletonville-born midfielder played his first match with his new team when Black Leopards lost 1-0 against Golden Arrows during their opening First Division league match played at the Thohoyandou stadium a fortnight ago.

Bobe vowed to lead his club back to the premiership come the end of the 2014/14 season.

He said Leopards was his true home. “I grew up at Lidoda Duvha and it is nice for me to return.

“Leopards has wonderful players and they placed well last season although they were knocked out by Polokwane City FC during the play-offs. We will work hard to return to the PSL,” he said.

Another player who joined Leopards after a stint with another team, is Morgan Shivambu, also a midfielder who played for Platinum Stars last season.

Leopards are now hard at work, to prepare for their match against Ga- Rankuwa United at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday.
