Golfers triumphant on course

The Mike’s Chicken monthly medal golf challenge was held at the Polokwane Golf Club on Saturday, where 106 golfers participated in the challenge.

The challenge was divided into divisions: men’s A, B and C-divisions and Women’s A and B-divisions.

Luanie van Rooyen claimed the first prize in the women’s A-division with 73 points, while Nola Peceur won the women’s B-division with 75 points.

In the men’s A-division, S.P. Mashakane won with 70 points. He was followed by Adam Milanzi with 70 points on a count-out.

Duncan Menzies was the overall winner of the men’s B-division with 69 points, while Andries du Plessis claimed the second spot with 69 points on a count-out.

In the men’s C-division, May Abdul won with 72 points on a count-in, while Tomas Mnguni was in second place with 72 points on a count-out.

Thys de Kock walked away with R650 as the winner for the jackpot. The draw was made by Raymond Pratt at holes 3, 5, 7 and 12.
