Rugby star thanks Rotarians for continued support

POLOKWANE – The Rotary Club of Pietersburg 100 was thanked for their assistance by a local rugby star at the clubs meeting last Thursday evening.
Nadine Roos thanked the Rotarians for the sponsorship towards her sporting career – she plays for Tuks’ women rugby sevens team and has won several trophies and medals.
‘The club has sponsored Roos as the members are proud of her outstanding performances.”
“She is the youngest player in her team and they recently came second in a tournament,” says rotary club’s president, Keith Ross.
Roos said she will be playing in a tournament in Dubai from 2 to 6 December. “I hope the Rotarians will be able to assist me to raise funds to go to Dubai.
“It’s a big tournament and I am looking forward to it.”
She thanked the club’s members once again for digging deep into their pockets to help her carry the Limpopo women’s rugby flag.
