Waterberg golden oldies to represent Lim at national games

LIMPOPO – The Waterberg Districts team for pensioners was awarded a prestigious second place and won numerous medals during the annual Provincial Golden Games.

The successful event for senior citizens was recently held at the Thohoyandou Stadium in Polokwane.

The Waterberg pensioners proudly boast seven gold, four silver and 13 bronze medals.

The team obtained a gold medal in the following categories: 400 m, 800 m, 4×100 m relay, ball relay, ball pass and kick and brisk walk.

“We look forward to represent Limpopo at the National Golden Games in Kimberly from 26 to 30 October,” said Edwin Nyatlo, one of the proud team members.
