LIMPOPO – Specualtion that links the jobless coach Costa Papic with Black Leopards is rife but some Lidoda Duvha officers hint that he betrayed the team two seasons ago.
Papic parted ways with Polokwane City FC last week as was confirmed by the team’s communication manager, Tumi Makgoara.
Makgoaro said the club and Papic decided to part ways and the decision was reached amicably.
“The team will continue with preparation for the Mamelodi Sundowns encounter under the tutelage of assistant coach, Nkuene Mayala and team manager, Bernard Molekwa.
“Training will not be affected by the sudden departure of the coach and will continue as planned,” Makgoara added.
Leopards chairperson, David Thidiela, did not respond on Saturday to fans who called for Papic to be re-employed.
