Helping to build soccer stars with tournament

Aspirant soccer stars have something to look forward to with the annual u/13 soccer tournament, which will be hosted by Build It at Paledi Mall in Mankweng

POLOKWANE – Aspirant soccer stars have something to look forward to with the annual u/13 soccer tournament, which will be hosted by Build It at Paledi Mall in Mankweng, through the South African Football Association (SAFA) Capricorn region.

To be held soon, the tournament will be open to players in the Polokwane Municipality, with Mankweng being the area concentrated on.

According to the competition manager, Peter Setiba, the soccer tournament offers a R50 000 prize to the winner.

“The competition will be between schools and community clubs. All players will be properly registered to avoid age challenges and late arrivals will automatically be knocked out of the tournament, so we urge all the clubs’ coaches to arrive on time,” Setiba warned.

Built it manager, Hardus Botha, said the tournament would be held to bring development to the game.

“Our exciting new soccer concept is now ready to start making a difference. As a brand that inspires change and has such powerful impact on society, we encourage all the soccer coaches to embrace our u/13 soccer programme and let our brand continue to be the brand that changes the lives of the people and communities in Southern Africa.”
