4 Sport events to look forward to this weekend

POLOKWANE – There are several sporting events to look forward to this weekend.

1. The third round of the South African Shooting Championship will take place at the shooting range on Saturday at 09:00.

2. There will also be a Family Fun Run for Childline Polokwane at 17 Hans van Rensburg Street on Saturday at 09:00 so pack your running shoes and come run for a good cause.

Registration for the fun run can be done from 06:00 to 07:00.

3. Karate action can be seen at Eksteen’s Dojo on Saturday as brilliant fighters battle it out in the Karate Championships at 10:00.

4. Bowlers will be in action throughout the day at the Polokwane Bowls Club, and the Silcon Smelters Golf Day will also take place at the Polokwane Golf Club.

For those who wish to stay home, there will be plenty of sport action on Super Sport this Saturday

At 05:00 the Paytm Freedom Test Series will see South Africa and India battle it out in the first day of the second test.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers will also take place on Saturday and will see Peru take on Paraguay at 04:00 and Gabon take on Mozambique at 18:45.

The Multichoice Diski Challenge will also continue on Saturday, and will first see the Ajax Cape Town team clash against the Mamelodi Sundowns at 09:30 and then the Golden Arrows will take on the Orlando Pirates at 11:50.
