POLOKWANE – About 400 cyclists participated in the Makhulu 5 Mountain Bike Race on Saturday.
The start and finish points of the race was Mall of the North. Races included 70km, 35km and 15km.
Roy Kirkpatrick, secretary of Polokwane Pedallers, which organised the race, said the club was grateful to all who helped to make the race a success.
Kirkpatrick said members of the club would now focus on the Munnik Meerkat MTB Race on 12 March.
The next Polokwane Pedallers mountain bike race is the Lente Trap race at the Polokwane Game Reserve on August 27.
