[IN PICTURES] PAC runners’ Comrades send-off

The athletes received goodie bags which were filled with much-needed items to help them prepare for the gruelling Ultimate Human Race.

POLOKWANE – Early Saturday morning, a week before the annual Comrades Marathon, athletes from Polokwane Athletics Club (PAC) gathered at Savannah Mall where they each received a goodie bag and had breakfast at Falcon Rock Spur Steak Ranch.

These novice runners from PAC will take on their first ever Comrades Marathon this Sunday.

The breakfast was held to wish those participating in the Comrades Marathon good luck for the ultra marathon on Sunday, 10 June from Pietermaritzburg to Durban.

Rocky Mojela, Pieter Pretorius and Paul Vorster will take on the Comrades Marathon for the 10th time this year.
