Rematch please, says Cruel Junior
Well-known Vhembe boxer Tsiko 'Cruel Junior' Mulovhedzi was defeated by points when he fought against undefeated Swiss boxer Zino Mueli.
LIMPOPO – The event was hosted last Saturday evening in a WBF welterweight title fight in Switzerland.
This was the second consecutive defeat for Mulovhedzi.
In October last year, he lost to Lazlo Toth of Hungary in an IBF clash held at the Ngoako Ramatlhodi Sport Centre in Seshego.
Mulovhedzi ascribed his loss to poor preparation and unfair calls.
Mueli beat Mulovhedzi on points over 12 rounds, yet he now insists on a rematch as he feels the referee’s actions were influences by the judges.
“I dominated the fight from the onset, everyone could see how I outclassed my opponent,” he lamented.
He said he was ready should Mueli be available for a rematch.
