TTM: ‘We are not going anywhere’

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila may have chaged their corporate identity, but they will remain based in Polokwane.

POLOKWANE – The 2021 Nedbank Cup Champions, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) have changed their name to Marumo Gallants Football Club.

The name change was revealed at an event held in Sandton yesterday, June 17.

According to Rufus Matsena, club liaison manager, the new name forms part of the club’s restructuring and repositioning plans.

“The previous club name was linked with the previous owner. The new name is the clan name of the new owner, Dr Abram Sello, which resonates with his roots.”

Mastena also announced that the club will not move out of the province as previously reported by various media houses.

“We are not going anywhere. All our home matches will be played at the Peter Mokaba Stadium and Peter Mokaba Sports Complex next season. We look forward to it. We will unveil our new jerseys and the new players in due course,” he added.
