Limpopo Softball Association hosts certification workshop

The three-day workshops are aimed at preparing coaches, scorers and umpires for the upcoming 2024 season.

LIMPOPO – Limpopo Softball Association (LSA) will stage a three-day workshop to equip their coaches, scorers and umpires with the latest techniques of the game in Polokwane from June 21-23.

The workshop forms part of the association’s preparations for the upcoming season which starts in August.

Thabo Mulauzdi, head of development at the association said participants will receive certificates upon successful completion of the level one and two tests in their respective disciplines.

He added that the graduates will officiate at Limpopo school sports events and national softball championships.

“We want to have coaches, umpires and scorers in the national and international softball championships, and so we want to equip all of them to be able to participate in those events.”
