Polokwane’s Floss Run smashes expectations

Polokwane's Floss Run saw an impressive 750+ participants, surpassing its 600-runner target, with the event promoting oral hygiene awareness.

POLOKWANE – More than 600 runners from various running clubs in Polokwane participated in the Floss Run held at the Mitchell House sports grounds on October 5.

The marathon, organised by the Floss Oral Hygiene Practice, celebrated their fifth birthday and comprised of four races (5km, 10km, 15km and 21km) to raise awareness around oral health.

Four dental practices, Polokwane Roadrunners and Energy FM hosted the six water points to keep the runners hydrated and offered them snacks.

Colgate provided 600 runners with a T-shirt, a medal, plenty of toothpaste and a toothbrush.
