Titans Colts dominate Lim Impalas in CSA match

The Limpopo Impalas Colts faced the Titans Colts in Polokwane, with Titans securing a 184-run win.

POLOKWANE – The Limpopo Impalas Colts hosted the Titans Colts in a CSA provincial match at the Polokwane Cricket Club last Thursday. Both teams were eager to make their mark on the big day.

Winning the toss, Titans elected to bat first and delivered an outstanding performance. Despite their efforts, the Impalas Colts fell short, with the Titans Colts securing a decisive victory by 184 runs.

The next match will take place on November 21-23 against Mpumalanga Rhinos in Nelspruit. The CSA Provincial Colts matches will continue taking place until March 16 next year, with breaks in between, as the Limpopo Impalas Colts compete against Mpumalanga, Easterns and Central Gauteng Lions.

First innings: Titans all out for 224, Impalas 157/9.
• Daniel van der Merwe 6 wickets for 51 runs in 14 overs.

• Hardus Coetzer 49.

Second innings:
Titans score 314 (lead of 381)
• Daniel van der Merwe: two wickets for 48 in 11 overs.
• Louis Botha: two wickets for 22 runs in 13 overs.
• Atwell Mokgoloboto: two wickets for 57 runs in 20 overs.
Impalas score 197/9 (managed to bat for 91 overs).
• Hardus Coetzer 84.
