Munaca FC thrash Black Leopards reserves

Munaca FC defeated Black Leopards' reserve team in a dominant ABC Motsepe League match at Makhado Showgrounds.

LIMPOPO – It was a thrilling encounter at the Makhado Showgrounds on Saturday as Munaca FC delivered a commanding 4-0 victory over Black Leopards’ reserve team in their Safa Limpopo ABC Motsepe League match.

Although Leopards initially matched Munaca’s intensity in the opening minutes, their resolve faded as the game progressed.

Munaca could have easily increased their lead, having missed several opportunities to convert. The game was full of rough tackles, especially in the first half, but Munaca quickly took control.

Their first goal came after Khathutshelo Rumani provided a perfect pass to Lutendo Mavhona, who scrambled the ball into the net. Despite being down early, Leopards kept up the pressure, but their strikers were unable to capitalise on key chances.

In the second half, Munaca’s dominance was evident. The lead was doubled in the 48th minute as Unarine Kudzingana found the net following a precise pass from Siyabonga Hlabisa. Thanzi Mbedzi made it 3-0 with a ground shot that beat Leopards’ keeper Motsoshi Baloyi, and finally, Themba Ndlovu scored from the penalty spot after a foul on Tumelo Tauhula.

The match ended 4-0 in favour of Munaca, who showed why they are a force to be reckoned with in the league.
