Seshego Royals dominate LTT Warriors in Lim T20 clash

Seshego Royals crushed LTT Warriors in the Lim T20, chasing down 116 runs in just 14.5 overs to claim the top spot in the standings.

POLOKWANE – The Seshego Royals registered a dominant victory in the Lim T20 (season 1) tournament, cruising to a nine-wicket win over the LTT Warriors from Louis Trichardt.

In a one-sided encounter played at the Polokwane Cricket Club on Sunday, Warriors struggled to post a competitive total, and the Royals chased it down effortlessly in just 14.5 overs.

LTT Warriors, opting to bat first, were dismissed for 116 runs in 18.3 overs.

Despite a brief resistance from Gerhardus Fourie (24 off 18 balls), the Warriors couldn’t build partnerships and they fell short.

The Royals’ chase was led by Pranav Raichetti, whose explosive innings of 81 runs off 47 balls was instrumental in securing the victory.

With support from Arsad Patel (17 runs off 15 balls) and then from Hector Ngobeni (15 runs off 27 balls), the Royals completed the task with ease, securing the win in the 15th over.

The Warriors’ bowlers could not make an impact.

With Alexander from Seshego Royals taking two wickets from two overs alongside Prince Ngobeni and Asfak Patel providing the support, LTT Warriors couldn’t stop the onslaught from the Royals.

The win propels the Seshego Royals to the first position of the standings in the competition.
