Limpopo Cup draws top riders to The Ranch

Top riders from across South Africa competed in the Ford Mokopane Limpopo Cup and U/25 Grand Prix at The Ranch Resort.

POLOKWANE – It was a weekend full of action and excitement as horse riders and equestrian enthusiasts gathered at The Ranch Resort for the prestigious Ford Mokopane Limpopo Cup and u/25 Outdoor Grand Prix, held from Friday to Sunday.

The event drew 160 horse-and-rider combinations from across the country, all vying for national titles and valuable ranking points in a fiercely competitive setting.

Riders competed across various categories, showcasing both skill and sportsmanship in what has become one of Limpopo’s premier equestrian events.

The competition featured some of South Africa’s top riders, including well-known names like Oscar Ncube, Barry Taylor, and Jonathon Clarke. The event also highlighted the rising talent of the next generation, with Paige Nunan and Divan Bosman making appearances in the youth categories.

In addition to national recognition, winners received prize money and gift packages, adding an extra layer of reward to their hard-fought victories.
