The tournament will be held across two venues, Skomboys Grounds and Blackpool Grounds. All 32 participating teams will compete in new soccer kits provided by the organisers.

Magau United will be seen in action at the tournament this year.

The semi-finalists will each receive two kits, while the two finalists will be awarded three kits each.

Entry is free for spectators.

The champions will take home R70 000, a floating trophy, gold medals and two soccer kits.

Second place earns R30 000, silver medals, and two kits; third place R10 000, bronze medals, and one kit; while fourth place receives R7 000.

SMSA manager Musiwa Tshifaro said the team is ready for any challenge.

Players motivated and ready

“Our squad has all the ingredients needed to win the tournament. The players are highly motivated after performing well in other competitions in recent weeks.

“They know the other teams are also in good form, and they have left no stone unturned in their preparations.”

Tournament organising committee chairperson Peter Nematandani confirmed that all arrangements are done, and he invited soccer lovers to attend.

Scouts on the lookout

He also said that scouts from the Premier Soccer League (PSL) and National Second Division clubs will be present to identify emerging talent.
