Capricorn Racing Club hosts successful fun day
Capricorn Racing Club plans a return to Saturday events after a successful fun day drew riders from across Limpopo and beyond.
POLOKWANE – The Capricorn Racing Club (CRC) hosted a fun day at the Silicon Road on Sunday, with 15 entries and included riders from Polokwane, Tzaneen and Kempton Park taking part.
The riders had family and friends cheering them from the sidelines as they competed in various classes including MX Jnr 50 cc, 65 cc, ladies, support, Open A and B.
Magda Keartland from the club said they were testing the waters with moving the event to a Sunday but will go back to hosting on Saturdays, while encouraging more entries from the city.

“The event will go back to being hosted on a Saturday as we would like to see more entries in the future and grow the sport in the city,” she said.
She thanked riders, sponsors and spectators for contributing to the success of the event.

“I would like to thank the riders, spectators and everyone involved, without you it would not have been possible,” she said.
Daily visits are R150 per day per bike, with an off-road bike and safety gear, and this includes all level riders.
