Limpopo Blue Bulls trample Kudus in warm-up
The Limpopo Blue Bulls charged through their warm-up match, stampeding toward the 2026 Obaro Platteland Noordvaal Tournament.
POLOKWANE – The Kudus team faced the Limpopo Blue Bulls North Region team in a warm-up match on September 12 at the Polokwane Rugby Club Fields (Polokwane Kudus Rugbyklub).
The friendly was organised to prepare the Limpopo Blue Bulls North Region team for the upcoming 2026 Obaro Platteland Noordvaal Tournament.
Rugby supporters came out in numbers to watch the best of Limpopo Noord in action under the motto, “Our Province! Our Pride. I Love Rugby”.
One-sided encounter
It was a one-sided encounter, with the Kudus going down 7-64 to the Limpopo Blue Bulls North Region.
The game was made possible through the efforts of the Limpopo Blue Bulls North Region team head coach, Rhynhard Jansen van Rensburg, assistant coaches Blaar Swanepoel and Henko Swanevelder, as well as the team manager, Tony Da Costa, who ensured everything ran smoothly.
Noordvaal Platteland Week kicks off September 23
Attention now turns to the Obaro Noordvaal Platteland Week, which kicks off with Matchday One on September 23 at Hoërskool Nylstroom.
Four quarter-final clashes are lined up for the opening day under the theme “Rugby Builds Communities”.
