Moremi Rugby Club Limpopo’s great u/13 hope

MOREMI Rugby Club from Moletjie Ga-Ramakgaphola will represent Limpopo in Durban in an u/13, national, rugby tournament, from December 8 to 16.

Moremi was crowned provincial champions after they won several games on circuit and provincial level.

The team’s coach, Kgothatso Laka said the team was established in 2000 and has been doing well ever since.

“I have a well balanced team and the players are committed and hard working.

“They never miss practise or misbehave on or off the field.

“I believe they will go to great places with this positive attitude,” said Laka.

He said three of his u/16 players were selected to play for the South African national u/16 team.

“We are one of the best rugby teams in the province, but we are still playing on a gravel field and the sports ground is situated in the bush.

“I call on the municipality to assist us in getting a proper sports field,” he said.
