Afrikaans singer, Gerrie Pretorius visited the city last Friday, where he performed at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World.
POLOKWANE – Afrikaans singer, Gerrie Pretorius visited the city last Friday, where he performed at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World.
Gerrie is a multi-platinum seller and is one of South Africa’s biggest names in the entertainment industry.
He started his singing career in 2001 with the release of his debut album, Annemarie, which went platinum.
His album, Ek Sing vir jou Bles reached gold status even before it was up for sale or available in record stores.
Gerrie has toured South Africa, and has worked with the best musicians and producers in the industry. He successfully toured Australia, America, the UK, Namibia, Botswana and Zambia and is also a regular face in The Netherlands, where he works closely with his producer, George Thé, former member of the George Baker Selection Band.
Pretorius has released 10 albums since he started his music career.
