X-mas party to put smile on their faces

Meropa Casino and Entertainment World teamed up with Limpopo Party and Food Supplies to organise a two-day Christmas party for children from the Samaritan Centre.

Meropa Casino and Entertainment World’s Corporate Social Investment division (CSI) and the marketing department teamed up with Limpopo Party and Food Supplies to organise a two-day Christmas party for children from the Samaritan Centre.

The children were treated to sweets and a visit to Meropa Casino’s play land, which was run by Limpopo Party and Food Supplies over the holidays.

The play land offered activities such as jumping castles, a wave slide, a double water slide, a foam party, a train for children, pony rides, snow pits, a zorb ball and a rocket and dunk tank.

Headline Management offered the children a meal, while Meropa Casino provided them with toys.

Meropa Casino and Entertainment World, CSI officer, Mothomoni Mapela said: “Children throughout the world enjoy spending the festive season with their parents and siblings. Even though this is a wish by many children, it is not always a reality and a possibility for many children in South Africa and elsewhere in the world as a result of countless social issues. Countless children today long for the luxury of sharing love, laughter and joy with someone during the festive season, especially when many of them are orphans”.

Children from the Samaritan Centre spent the day at Meropa Casino and Entertainmentment World's play land on Christmas Day.
