POLOKWANE – The Association for Persons with Disabilities (APD) Limpopo and Centenary House hosted a special day for the Centenary House residents and employees in celebration of Valentine’s Day on Friday.
The day started out with a very special teatime treat from the APD’s catering department, followed by a dance competition as well as a fashion show, in which everyone participated.
Musical games were also enjoyed just before residents enjoyed a delicious lunch.
The winners of the dancing competition were Henry Hoyer and Sannie Welsh who were both pleased with their good fortune.
“We do this to make the people feel special and to treat them a bit,” said Johnny Graham, public education and awareness officer at APD.
