Artists display their wares at market

POLOKWANE – Local artists are invited to showcase their creative handmade art at the monthly arts and crafts flea market at Velvet Apple Café in Compensatie Street.

The first arts and crafts market was recently and different artists displayed their wares, which varied from wire work, woodwork, natural soaps, jams, and chillies to jewellery, dream catchers and many other works of art.

Martin-Shawn van Huyssteen, the owner of Velvet Apple Café said artists received very little exposure and with the arts and crafts market, they hade an opportunity to promote and sell their art.
