NDABA had a different weekend this weekend as shim spent time at the Clash of the Choirs auditions at Fusion Boutique Hotel. It was funny how people came all dressed up to the auditions as if they would be chosen based on their outfits.
Mathapelo Shai looked like she was ready to walk on the red carpet.
Shame all that effort and she wasn’t even chosen to be part of the Limpopo choir.
You should have seen how Adelide Gininda was walking around the venue showing off her feathered handbag. Ndaba could not believe shim’s eyes after seeing Tumi Marome of the Muzo Brothers standing in line to audition. It was really surprising as one would think that the group members might be seen on the other side of the line, assisting the judges.
Maybe he wants to try something new. Good news is he made it to the second round. You will have to watch the show if you want to find out if he is part of the Limpopo choir.
Mpho Manyaka and Thamsanqa Lengeni travelled all the way from Pretoria for the auditions and this left Ndaba wondering just how determined they were.
Surely they knew about the Johannesburg auditions. Maybe they just wanted to ensure a spot in the show.
