12th birthday full of surprizes

POLOKWANE – Meropa Casino and Entertainment World celebrated its 12th anniversary on Saturday, where guests walked away with fabulous prizes.

Meropa gave away a share of R72 000 to 20 lucky winners in a mystery jackpot.

Jacqui Carpede of Jamali entertained guests with music from her debut album, which she was promoting at the event.

Carpede also took the honours of blowing out the candles on Meropa’s impressive birthday cake.

Matjatji Harpestad, Meropa Casino’s promotions coordinator, said the ceremony was well attended and everything went according to plan.

“The birthday celebration was a way of rewarding customers for their loyalty and Meropa’s way of giving back.

“We would like to thank Limpopo Events and Wedding Academy for the support and for sponsoring the event’s decorations,” she said.

Harpestad said the ceremony was open to everyone, but only MVG card holders could participate in the lucky draw.

She said Meropa planned to host a promotion where a new bakkie would be up for grabs. The date and venue of the promotion will still be confirmed.
