TZANEEN – Wyldy Chapman has opened a tasteful décor shop called Catherine Rose next to Tenby Gardens on the George’s Valley road outside Tzaneen.
Wyldy’s mother, Pini Chapman, ran a shop by the same name at Leeways Nursery on Rifle Range road in Johannesburg. The nursery was sold recently and was the brainchild of the late Jeff Parsley, Wyldy’s uncle and godfather. Jeff was well-known in the Magoebaskloof area.
Wyldy says she inherited her love for interior decorating from her talented mother and grandmother. She was in sales and also owned a corporate promotion company when she lived in Johannesburg, and she moved to the Magoebaskloof area after Jeff’s death some two years ago.
Catherine Rose is open daily except on Mondays.
