POLOKWANE – Meropa Casino and Entertainment World bid general manager, Clifford Ngakane farewell on Saturday with a Cowboys and Coyote Ugly party at Jembe Tavern.

Ngakane recently announced he would step down after 25 dedicated years at Sun International as he wanted to focus on private business endeavours. He will leave Meropa at the end of August.

MVG cardholders, colleagues, friends and the Limpopo Gambling Board members attended the party.

“I had a great 25 years with Sun International and it was wonderful to work with everyone at Meropa. It is time for me to move forward now. I am a bit scared and sad to leave behind something I love and that I have been doing almost all my life behind, but it is time for change; time to be my own boss,” said Ngakane.
