Merry-go-round fun for the family

MAKHADO – Soutpansberg Primary hosted their annual merry-go-round at the school last week.

The operators set up the rides last Thursday morning and the gates opened at 14:00, but not before the pre-primary schools of Makhado had the opportunity to try out the rides before the older children rushed through the gates.

Last Thursday afternoon, the fun started in all earnest and children of all ages ran around excitedly.

Shouts of “mommy check this out” or “mommy I want to do this” rang out throughout the afternoon and the next day.

On Saturday, tears flowed freely when the merry-go-round had to pack up, and residents said they looked forward to next year’s fun.
