Fridays at Nguni Grill are no ordinary days because Friday is Braai Day at this restaurant.
POLOKWANE – Fridays at Nguni Grill are no ordinary days because Friday is Braai Day at this restaurant.
Hannes Willemse, Nguni Grill owner, says Fridays are special days for their patrons.
“We wanted to do something unique for our customers and we decided to have Braai Friday so people can relax after a long week.
“Our braai meat is prepared by well-trained chefs,” says Willemse.
He says it is always a good feeling to start the weekend with a braai and a few drinks with friends. The Nguni braai starts at 11:00 and ends at 16:00.
Patrons have a variety of delicious food to choose from. They have a choice between a 400g T-bone steak, a half chicken or a 200g steak and wors; all served with variety of sa-lads, pap and sauce, garlic potatoes and bread for only R69,95.
Nguni Grill also runs its first braai competition this year where one lucky person will win the Nguni Grill Braai King title.
The winner’s recipe will be included in Nguni Grill’s menu.
Entrants can SMS their names to 45702 to enter for the competition. SMSes are charged at only R1,50 and the final draw for the competition will be on September 24 at the restaurant.
The first 20 entries will be selected to take part in the preliminary round. This round will also serve as the elimination round to identify the top five braaiers. In this round, the contestants will have the opportunity to show off their recipes and skills by having a braai at Nguni Grill.
