Prom nite glitz and glamour

Prom fever is in the air, and this year, you can expect new glitz and glamour at Prom Night, with Bolivia Lodge as main sponsor and the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) Polokwane as a beneficiary.

An expo, as well as an all inclusive matric farewell competition aimed at gr.11 learners will form part of the event.

The following new awards will be announced during the event: designer, make-up artist, hairstylist and photographer of the year. Gr. 12 learners can nominate their designer, make-up artist, hairstylist and photographer (free of charge) by contacting the organiser via SMS or e-mail. Prom Night winners will be announced in various categories. Couples and individuals are nominated by the organiser. Should you not be nominated you can still enter by submitting two clear, colourful length photographs (front and back) of yourself in your outfit. For hair and make-up entries, two clear, colour head and shoulder photographs (front and back) must be submitted.

The entry fee is R100 per couple or individual. Tickets for the event will be on sale from October 1 at R100 per person.
