Comedy Night: Ndaba takes in the laughs and gossip

NDABA decided to have a change of scenery by attending the Comedy Night at Jembe Tavern at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World

NDABA decided to have a change of scenery by attending the Comedy Night at Jembe Tavern at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World on Wednesday evening.

Those who thought the Comedy Night was a boring event should think again as Ndaba had the time of shim’s life.

Ndaba was really spoiled on Wednesday as shim was part of the Castle Lite Lime launch at Jembe Tavern. These two events were also held to celebrate Heritage Day.

Credit should be given where it is due and Annah Moloto deserves to be commended for her effort in dressing up for Heritage Day. She really looked good in traditional clothes.

Some people will never change was tseba. Gape Ndaba was surprised to see Alex Congoross Netshpasha came with Phumudzo Nengwekhulu and Gladys Raedaniwho, who did not bother to stick to the theme and wear their traditional clothing.

Ndaba is worried about Gladys’ hairstyle, which makes her look like a rare rooster.

Shame, Ndaba felt sorry for singer, Ntsikwane, who performed during the Castle Lite Lime launch. It seemed people were not familiar with her songs.

She tried to get the audience to sing along, but that failed.

By the way Ntsikwane, was the massage that Ndaba spotted you enjoying free or was it just part of the package as a reward for your performance at the event?

Bra Tumza Makhura was also at the launch.

Yho! Those waitresses from Jembe almost stole the show with their beautiful traditional outfits. But one of them, Aletta Nkoana, started to behave like a child when she saw Ndaba’s camera.

Hats off to SAB for choosing beautiful mo-dels to serve people at the launch, even though Ndaba is a bit worried about the ages of the three ladies.

Haai mara that School Boy is sure funny. Ndaba wonders where he gets his material from. He had the audience in stitches at the Comedy Night alongside Noko Motsoete, who Ndaba suggests should befriend the gym as a matter of urgency.

To all those youngsters who think they have what it takes on the dance floor, be warned that teachers from Doornspruit Catholic Primary School in Romang village will make you run for your money. Ndaba saw them in passing doing their thing during a school celebration on Friday. Tjer! Gape ke re bo magogo bale can shake it.
