Zeyn builds his music brand

ZEYN Harri, better known as DJ Qtiezee is determined to make a name for himself in the music industry.

Harri (24), who hails from Nirvana, says his love for house music started when he was still in high school after his brother introduced him to the world of music.

Not only is he a DJ but also a sound engineer.

“My passion for music inspired me to study sound engineering at the Academy of Sound Engineering in Johannesburg where I obtained a diploma in sound engineering. After graduating I got an opportunity to freelance at one of the leading radio stations and also worked as a stage technician,” said Harri.

He says he want to see himself as successful as Black Coffee, DJ Fresh, Vinny da Vinci, and DJ Christos.

“My goal is to be a successful DJ and to help young DJs find success. I love to communicate with the people through music and watch people dance. All I want is to own an entertainment company where I can help young kids to explore their talent,” he said.

“I was truly inspired by two local DJs who are doing great in the music industry, Da Capo and Problem Child. I used to follow them around to gigs.”

Harri encourages young DJs to take their education seriously.

“Education is the key to a good life. Study hard so that you would be able to manage and maintain your music career. Make sure you focus on your brand, then music will be your daily bread,” he said.
