Heritage Day celebrated with a hint of lime

THE South African Breweries (SAB) celebrated Heritage Day in a light, citrus-flavoured mood when they launched the new Castle Light Lime at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World last Wednesday.

The breweries invited tavern owners and other stakeholders to this launch and guests were treated to great surprise lucky draw gifts like microwave ovens, tents and stock for their taverns.

SAB Polokwane sales manager, Benedict Kekana, made use of this occasion to warn tavern owners not to sell alcohol to minors. He also said adults should enjoy their alcohol in a responsible manner.

Kekana also spoke about SAB’s involvement with community development projects and other charity outreach programmes.

He asked guests not to lose sight of the real reason for Heritage Day and to stay true to their roots.
