Glen Lewis thanks residents for best birthday bash

METRO FM radio presenter and house music DJ, Glen Lewis has thanked the people of Polokwane for being part of his Hennessy birthday tour at Waterland on Saturday.

METRO FM radio presenter and house music DJ, Glen Lewis has thanked the people of Polokwane for being part of his Hennessy birthday tour at Waterland on Saturday.

The birthday tour started in Johannesburg, before heading to Durban and Bloemfontein, with Polokwane as the last stop.

“I am happy that those who came to the party were happy. I want to take this opportunity to thank them for coming to celebrate with me.

“I am humbled by the support. It was the best bash,” he said Lewis.

He dismissed the rumour that he would never perform in Polokwane again following an incident at Waterland last month, where three people were shot during his performance.

Hennessy brand ambassador, Clifford Masinya, said Hennessy teamed up with Lewis because he was a responsible public figure, who never made the headlines for the wrong reasons.

“Our partnership with Lewis dates back to 2002 and it is still on going,” said Masinya.

He said they planned to add two more provinces to the tour next year.
