Mopedi to make a video of his hit

LOCAL hip hop musician, Jack “Mopedy” Morema has embarked on a tour across Limpopo to promote his new album, Moletangwedi.

Released in July, the album sold 3 000 copies within three months of its release.

As part of the tour, Mopedy has already been to Lenyenye, Bochum and Botlokwa and will visit Lebowakgomo, Mokopane, Thohoyandou and Moletjie in the coming weeks.

Mopedy says he will release a video for the song, Van Toeka, which receives a lot of airplay on community radio stations.

Talking to CV about the video, Mopedy said his supporters always came first, which is why they will be able to download the video before it goes to television.

“The video, which is in the final stages of editing, will be available for download from my website, www.mopedy.co.za today (Wednesday),” he said.

The video was directed by Francis Nnamdi from Nigeria and was shot in Polokwane.
