LIMPOPO – THE province proved to have so much acting talent that when Entertainment of Limpopo Musicians Association (Elma) did auditions for their movie, Evil Temptation, at the SABC auditorium in Polokwane recently, that they not only selected eight people to play the main characters, but they also requested several others to accept parts as extras on the moving.
Elma chief executive officer, Eliyah “Kaisto” Papule, said the movie, Evil Temptation, would be sold to DSTV’s Mzansi Bioskop and other interested parties. “We want to give Limpopo people, especially the youth, an opportunity to act. We want to find and expose the untapped acting talents we know are out there. We discovered unbelievable acting talent in Limpopo; more than we expected,” Papule said.
Executive producer and screenplay writer, Kwenisto Makgakga, said the script would be changed to fit in the additional actors.
He said the movie would be set in Madiba Park, downtown Polokwane and Seshego. “The movie is about a young beautiful girl who grows up in the care of her aunt and uncle. Her aunt is unable to have children, and her uncle starts noticing her as she grows up. This is why the movie is called Evil Temptation. To find out what happens, people will have to wait for the movie,” Makgakga said with a mysterious smile.
