POLOKWANE – COMEDY heavyweight and TV presenter, Loyiso Gola will make an appearance in Polokwane for one night only at Sun Meropa on July 31.
“When one of the country’s most popular award-winning comedians comes to town, there is only one thing to do, get ready to laugh until it hurts,” says Raksha Gunpath, Sun Meropa public relations and productions manager.
Gola’s TV show, Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola (LNN) has received worldwide recognition and was nominated for a second Emmy Award this year.
“This Emmy nomination is dedicated to those who fought for freedom of speech in South Africa.
“Thank you to the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the recognition. Another Emmy nomination is humbling.” said Gola.
Loyiso, who started his career at the tender age of 19 is hailed as one of the most talented comedians the country has to offer.
