POLOKWANE – With the festive season in full swing, some people have already left for their holiday destinations, while others have opted to spend Christmas in the city with their family and friends.

Those who will be in the city over the festive season should not worry about things to do to keep themselves entertained as there are various tourism attractions and activities for less than R150.

These include:

• Gaming at Sun Meropa (Gambling and non-gambling games).

• A visit to Bakone Malapa Open-Air Cultural Museum.

• A visit to the Hugh Exton photography Museum.

• A self game drive and picnic at the Polokwane Game Reserve.

• A visit to Catch-up Zone in Seshego,  where you can braai meat and enjoy drinks. It is a trending outlet with a township touch.

• Fishing at the Turfloop Safari Nature Reserve.

• Play a round of golf at the Polokwane Golf Club or the University of Limpopo golf course.

• Bowling at Farmyard.

• Swimming at the following swimming pools: town, Nivarna and Westernburg.

• Shopping at Mall of the North.

• A visit to the Birds and Snake Park.
