Don’t let the ‘Janu-worry’ troubles get you down

POLOKWANE – Most people are usually excited about the Christmas season festivities, often forgetting that schools will re-open in a few weeks time. January can be a very stressful month, especially if you didn’t spend wisely during the festive season.
Thabo Sebashe, a resident in Polokwane, shares how he saves up for his children’s school fees and stationery during the festive season.
Sebashe says he uses store specials such as Black Friday to stock up on stationery.
“The costs in January go up, especially stationery as most shops know that parents are looking for stationery,” says Sebashe.
He further says he stocks up for Christmas supplies in October or at the beginning of November to avoid the December rush.
“As soon as my children receive their stationery lists, I immediately buy all the stationery and school uniforms. In January, I don’t stress about anything, I only buy food for their lunch boxes. This method has worked for me for so many years, try it,” he advices.
