Fuller figure models needed for this fashion show

When Mojalefa Maboko first started his modelling agency, he had several prospective models in mind

POLOKWANE – Given that he always wanted to be a model himself, he saw a lack of agencies in the province, which was why he started his own company.

Promote It Studios was established in early 2013. It is located in the central business district (CBD) in the heart of Polokwane.

It is a safe haven for aspiring models who want to take their careers to the next level. Now Maboko is taking it a step further by hosting his first fashion show.

The event will take place on 1 and 2 April at Sun Meropa.

“The aim of this fashion show is to see fashion designers, models and photographers work together and it is an opportunity for us to challenge other provinces. It is time for Limpopo to rise,” Maboko said.

Maboko is looking for 10 plus size models and 45 designers from all over the province to showcase their talents. The models must be between the ages of 16 and 30 years. Women of all races are welcome to enter the show.

“I wanted to give plus size models the chance to be the centre of attention. I wanted to give them the chance to showcase their talents and shine,” he continued.

If you or anyone you know is interested, you can visit Promote It Studios at No 2, 53 Landdros Maré Street Polokwane. Alternatively, contact Maboko at 082 510 3639 or e-mail promoteitagency@gmail.com for further information.
