Pupils make moves in 2nd round of chess league

Chess players from Pepps Preparatory School and Northern Academy competed in the second round of the Polokwane primary schools chess league, which was held at Pepps on Wednesday

POLOKWANE – There are 10 schools competing in two groups, nine schools from Polokwane and one from Louis Trichardt.

Frans Badenhorst, organiser of the Polokwane chess league, said the results were not available yet, but would be provided before the third round next week.

With two rounds done and dusted, there are five rounds to go as the league is contested over seven rounds.
