Enhanced 2016 Chevrolet Captiva is still a smooth ride

General Motors South Africa (GMSA) has introduced an enhanced Chevrolet Captiva for 2016

POLOKWANE – Arriving at Westvaal Polokwane’s showroom this week, the 2016 Chevrolet Captiva is a refined and efficient people carrier with seating for seven passengers.

As before, the Captiva offers a smooth ride over any condition the South African landscape can throw at it. The spacious cabin allows for extra storage space and has three rows of seats with high levels of safety and comfort features.

Enhancements to the 2016 model range include a new grille and front end which give the Captiva also the latest Chevrolet family look. The headlamps have LED day time running lights with automatic on and off.

All three models come with Argent or body colour accent cladding depending on the body colour selected. The new 2016 models are fitted with 18-inch alloy wheels. The bold look of the Captiva is finished off with neatly integrated side steps.

Inside the new Captiva is Chevrolet’s award winning MyLink infotainment system with a seven-inch touch screen. The second generation of MyLink builds on the innovations of the previous system with class leading connectivity which introduces phone projection technology, a first in this segment.

Further changes to the interior include a new leather steering wheel and an all new dashboard and instrument cluster.

Buyers of the 2016 Chevrolet Captiva have a choice of either the 2.4 litre petrol engine or a 2.2 litre turbo diesel engine.

The 2016 Chevrolet Captiva benefits from the Chevrolet Complete Care Programme which covers regular servicing, and road side emergencies.

Warranty and Roadside Assistance is covered for five years or 120 000km and comes with a five years or unlimited kilometer anti-corrosion warranty.

As part of the Chevrolet Complete Care Programme, the Captiva comes standard with a three year or 60 000km service plan.

To view the new refreshed Chevrolet Captiva, visit Westvaal Polokwane at 86 Landdros Maré Street or contact them at (015) 297 1149.
