Meet the city’s trailblazing DJ duo

These two DJs started their career in 2013 and have already been nominated for a FAME Award for Best Dance Group.

POLOKWANE – House music’s latest offering comes in the form of two talented young men, Karabo K’zela Mathetja from Ga-Matlala and Tshepho Stylish DJ Kgasago from Ga-Mathabatha.

The duo released their first double disc album earlier this year with BGMP Records which landed them a nomination in the 2016 Film, Arts, Music and Entertainment (FAME) Awards for Best Dance Group.

Punching above their weight class, they have released their music with the likes of Nick Holder’s DNH Records in Canada, UK-based Aluku Records, BGMP Records, House Afrika, and Sheer Afrika.

K’zela and Stylish DJ are resident DJs on Munghana Lonene FM and Radio Turf. Moreover, they have been getting air play from international radio stations such Bang Radio and Back To Back FM in the UK.

The prolific music producers have been working in tandem since 2013 and their music is a treat for the ears and the soul. With their love for super-charged innuendos, fascination with the crowd and their flamboyant style, they are sure to stand head and shoulder above the rest.

They previously worked with the likes of Da Capo, Aries Aquarius (Germany), Lyrik Shoxen, Bhizori, Dayo (Nigeria) Skhiya RSA, Dafro, Alie Duke, and aFrikaSoul, to mention a few.

They are currently working on an extended play (EP) of a remix package set to be released under DNH.

“We have worked with some of the big guns in the industry and such collaborations have been enlightening,” announced K’zela before being interjected by Stylish DJ who added: “These were experiences of a lifetime. Ours is an industry chock-full of marvelous artists and the individuals we worked with knew their stuff, we gained so much valuable experience”.
