Itumeleng Moeti , a force in the media world

This stylish account executive has a passion for media and pursues her goals with purpose

POLOKWANE – Many will agree that it is tough building a career in a fast paced industry but this multi-faceted woman makes it look easy.

Itumeleng Moeti (28) is an Account Executive at Energy FM who deals with maximising sales revenue by developing new leads, increasing client portfolios, managing client relationships and increasing advertising profit. She originates from Moletjie Ga-Moeti, grew up with her aunt and grandmother in Bendor, and now resides in Nirvana.

“I studied marketing management at Tshwane North College where I also served as the Student Representative Council (SRC) Treasurer during my studies. She runs her own hotel marketing agency called Credia Hotel Firm.

“I am also involved with the Limpopo Beauty Modelling Academy as an assistant scout and trainer,” she says. She has a passion and love for radio and media marketing.

“What is expected of me as a salesperson is to grow and maximise sales revenue and meet targets, and to also build and maintain good relations with our clients,” she said.

“My serenity, gentle heart, wisdom, strength and humility are among some of the things that makes me unique,” she said. She is involved with a global organisation – Junior Chamber International (JCI) – and currently serves on the Limpopo board as the 2016 Polokwane President. JCI is a global community of young active citizens who believe that in order to make change in our communities they must take collective action.

“We participate in various projects and programmes that empower us with the leadership and business skills needed to develop ourselves.”

Moeti says she is versatile and able to easily adapt to different environments.

“I am driven and level headed,” she said adding that she believes nothing can be achieved without hope, optimism, confidence, hard work, prioritising, persistence and faith.
