Operation Fiela-2 successes in city centre

The distinct racket of a chopper overhead is drawing attention to crime-busting Operation Fiela-2 currently ongoing in Polokwane’s city centre.
Thus far several successes – including the arrest of an illegal immigrant and discovery of weapons – have been recorded, it was learnt on one of the scenes in Suid Street, where law enforcers hit on homeless dwellers under a bridge at the intersection with the main street.
Various law enforcers are engaged in the operation.
