Get Fit and have Fun with the whole family

"We want to get Polokwane's people going," say Fun Fit Programme coordinators, Christine Venter and Erika du Toit

POLOKWANE – A new and fun way to get fit for the whole family has been introduced to the city by Fun Fit Programme coordinators, Christine Venter and Erika du Toit.

“We want to offer people an exercise programme where they can become fit, while spending time with their family and having fun,” Christine explains. “We want to get Polokwane’s people going”.

Erika says they feel there is a need for Fun Fit because people become so busy with activities during the day, they don’t have time to work out and spend time with their family. This programme offers the opportunity for everyone in the family to interact and get exercise at the same time.

“This is also a fun way to meet new people. We know there are single parents out there that want to get fit, but they do not have a place to leave their children while they are at the gym. With our programme, children are more than welcome to join. It is also a good way to introduce healthy living to young children and establish a healthy lifestyle,” Erika continues.

The Fun Fit Programmes classes take place at the Polokwane Westeling Hall in Suid Street every Tuesday and Thursday from 17:30. Each session lasts 45 minutes and are presented by Christine and her husband, Roelf. The very first class will take place tomorrow tonight (Thursday).
